James Stanford, Founder and Managing Partner
Mr. James Stanford has over 25 years of entrepreneurial success to his credit. With his expertise in visionary leadership, global management and strategic product marketing, Mr. Stanford consistently enhanced shareholders' profitability in top Fortune 100 companies.
Having worked on four continents, Mr. Stanford bridges cultural gaps seamlessly. At 16, in Istanbul, he established a retail store importing and selling Sinclair Computers in Turkey. Mr. Stanford went on to establish one of the world's first multi-media learning station at Cornell University under the National Science Foundation (NSF), HDTV and SONET developments at Toshiba in Japan.
As the top business and marketing strategist, Mr. Stanford led and grew Logitech's (NASDAQ:LOGI) Strategic OEM business to $200 million per year. He became one of three General Managers after making it the number one PC-OEM manufacturer worldwide, shipping 300 million units under his leadership. His business unit served more than 30 Tier-1 and Tier-2 PC-OEM companies like Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo and SONY.
After serving as the Chief Strategy Officer and President of Epos, an Intel Capital Portfolio company, Mr. Stanford started incubating a number of companies as a social entrepreneur while helping many of hi-tech start-up CEOs and Board Members with corporate, product and go-to-market strategies.
James Stanford is a graduate of the Executive Program at Building New Ventures from Harvard Business School. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of San Francisco, a Masters degree in Engineering from Cornell University, a BSEE degree from Widener University and an Advanced Studies degree in Electronics from the prestigious Bogazici (Bosphorus) University in Turkey.
Stuart Worrall, Sr. Partner
Mr. Stuart Worrall is an experienced senior executive with management expertise in leading global organizations through product development from inception to success in the marketplace. He has the gravitas and presence to both create and mould a senior team to deliver against stretching business objectives. He combines solid, advanced business and technology practices to develop focused programs that increase revenues, control operating costs, improve internal processes, and expand company operations.
Mr. Worrall has served on the boards of several public and private companies, including Food Services of America, and Telecalc Inc. He is as comfortable managing a team of software developers, planning and implementing sales strategies, or presenting initiatives to senior executives and shareholders, and being interviewed live by the media.
With an extensive background in financial, budget, and investment management oversight for operating budgets and investment portfolios exceeding $100 million Mr. Worrall has a consistent record of success in increasing shareholder’s value.
Yue Meng, Marketing Research Associate
Yue (Liz) Meng is a junior at Cornell University pursuing Biological Engineering major and Applied Economics and Management minor. Her passion in both the engineering and business fields allowed her to effectively integrate and cross-utilize skills extracted from both areas.
Liz defines and gathers market and service requirements, collects customer experience in various industries and conducts extensive market, benefit, competitive research and analysis.
As a research assistant at Cornell Research Institute (SRI), Liz has conducted interviews and research on projects related to social sciences. In addition, she had experience with medical design specifications through her research in the biomedical engineering field. Liz is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the Cornell Entrepreneur Organization (CEO), where she updated and synchronized event and media information and maintained websites.
